When it comes to easy casserole recipes that will make everyone happy, this Sloppy Joe Cornbread Casserole is a fabulous choice. Sloppy Joes are a family favorite for a reason, and all of the best parts of the classic hamburger sandwich are present in this casserole dish. The bottom layer of this casserole is an easy cornbread, which is then buried in tangy ground beef and vegetables. The sloppy Joe casserole is finished with a blanket of Cheddar cheese, which is the perfect finish for this weeknight wonder.

I was not able to pull up the link for dish, but it sounds delicious. If it were me, I would add some fresh peppers and onions to the mix unless you use a can to make this a faster dinner idea for busy nights. Do you use the Jiffy mix for this idea or make a homemade cornbread? I think the Jiffy mixes work well, especially when you are in a hurry.

I googled the recipe, and actually found it again on her website. I think she may have just redone it since now it's a "bake" vs a "casserole." https//www.bunsinmyoven.com/2015/03/08/sloppy-joe- == cornbread-bake/

Hi abpersonalitygmailcom, thanks for bringing this to our attention! We've fixed the link to the recipe. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
