Biscuit-Topped Ground Beef Casserole is a glorious ground beef casserole. The ground beef mixture is sandwiched between the top and bottom half of homemade biscuits. It's great comfort food that's especially good in the winter, when it's cold outside. Don't be scared off by the term "homemade biscuits". They're not difficult to make. Both children and adults will go back for seconds. This casserole is also made with corn, so it is a complete meal. After one bite, you'll want to put this recipe into your weekly rotation. The next time you're craving something hearty and delicious, remember this dish.

I think my family would really love this dish. I love the use of Monteray Jack cheese. Have you ever shredded up pepper jack cheese and used it to give this dish a kick? My daughter would say it is a must because of how much she loves pepper-jack. I like that you made the biscuits homemade with buttermilk because who doesn't love a good buttermilk biscuit at dinner?

My mouth is watering just looking at the picture! I have a newfound appreciation for homemade biscuits, so I can't wait to make this.
