Southern Collard Greens and Grits Casserole combines two classic Southern ingredients into a delicious side dish recipe. The creamy grits and the hearty greens perfectly balance each other out. Chopped pecans that have been coated in Cajun seasoning, add the perfect crunch to this side dish casserole. Once the grits have been cooked simply stir in some salsa and the nut butter of your choice. Then, layer half of the grits in a casserole dish and top them with the cooked collard greens. Before baking, add on the rest of the grits and the Cajun pecans. No one will be able to resist this recipe for collard greens!
