I'm not one to cook with mixes or processed frozen foods, but I decided to try this so I could adapt it. Very tasty, easy and quick to put together. Here's an asparagus farmer's tip Rather than cutting the bottom end of the stalk with a knife, hold the spear between thumb and forefinger of each hand with one near the center of the spear and one near the bottom end. Give it a quick snap and it will break instantly at the point where the tough, fibrous part of the stem ends, leaving you with only the tender part to eat.
