I absolutely love the idea of this one dish sloppy joe casserole. I haven't had a sloppy joe since I was a kid but this really brings it up to an adult meal. I love the idea of adding vegetables to the meat and truly making it a one dish meal. Have you tried freezing it?

Hi kenziewood, we haven't tried freezing this recipe, but it would probably work if you froze the meat filling without the biscuits on top. When you're ready to make it, let the filling thaw in the refrigerator and then top it with the cheese and biscuits just before baking. I love sloppy joes, but I would have never thought to transform the recipe into a casserole. This looks delicious!

This looks delicious! I love sloppy joes so I'm sure this biscuit-topped casserole would be great.
