If you and your family like sloppy Joes, then you are guaranteed to love Mom's Sloppy Joe Casserole. This casserole is similar to a regular sloppy Joes recipe, but it features a tasty cornbread topping. The best thing about this sloppy Joe casserole is that everyone in your family will love it. Even the pickiest eaters are guaranteed to gobble up their helping of Mom's Sloppy Joe Casserole. This ground beef casserole is topped with one half cup of shredded cheese, but we suggest that you top it with even more for the tastiest, cheesiest casserole possible.

I have seen several versions of this recipe on here, but this is the first one that used cheese on top of the cornbread. We love a good sloppy joe sandwich with a slice or some shreds of sharp cheddar cheese. The tomatoey goodness with the sour from the sharp cheddar just make this dish so much more special. The best part is that you can throw this meal in the oven and get on with the things that are keeping you busy.
