You can cook with confidence when you use the Cuisinart Chef's Classic Enameled Cast Iron Casserole. This 7-quart pot is stovetop and oven safe so you can start dishes on the stove and finish them in the oven. The cast iron pot comes in two beautiful, enamel colors, red and blue.

This is a heavy-duty pot that will soon become your kitchen workhorse. Cast iron is known for its durability, heat-retention, and all-around superior features. This cast iron pot is no different; while it takes minute or two to heat fully, once it does, it will sear and braise food perfectly. I love using this particular pot for making winter stews, all my soup recipes, and braised chicken recipes. The 7-quart size means you can make small and larger recipes in the dish.

This enameled cast iron collection is similar in some ways to competitors, but sets itself apart with its extreme durability. Not only can you use it in on the stove, in the oven, and under a broiler, but you can also put it in the dishwasher! The enameled porcelain interior will not be damaged like other pots and pans would be.

Cast iron items are not known for being light, but the design of this pot makes it easier to hold and carry. I love the two handles because they are wide and easy to grip. An oversized knob on the lid also makes lifting the top off simple.

I like serving dishes right from the pot. The lid combined with the cast iron material help keep food warm and ready for seconds! The vibrant colors also make it a beautiful addition to any table setting.

This is the kind of pot that you will still be using twenty years from now. It is designed to last years, and the style is timeless!
