Mudslide Poke Cake

If you love dessert and cocktails, why not try a cake that combines them? Mudslide Poke Cake is a delicious combination of chocolate and liquor that tastes like the original cocktail. The chocolate pudding in the cake makes it super moist, you won't be able to stop eating it. Don't like alcohol? Don't worry, there isn't enough liquor in the cake to do any damage, just enough to add a tasty flavor to your dessert.

Do you think I can replace the oil for the cake mix with fruit juice or applesauce? I try not to use any oil in my cakes. It helps them come out moist and has less fat, but I am not sure it will work in this case, but I may have to use the oil if there is no substitute because this dessert looks so yummy!

Hi SissieSass, applesauce might work in this recipe, although we haven't tried it for ourselves. You could also try using pureed banana. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
