I would never think that you could use beer to make brownies. Can you give these to kids? The brownie part sounds like you could because it will burn off the alcohol in the oven, but the icing may not be acceptable for children. My kids are teens, but I may adapt the icing to a cream cheese only icing for them.

Hi SissieSass, the frosting should be fine as well, since the beer for the frosting is cooked on the stove. It's reduced down to a syrup. That being said, the frosting would still be great if you left the Guinness out entirely. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes

These brownies look so good! I feel like sometimes you need to indulge in dessert and this is the best brownie to do that with!
