Can I just omit the almond extract, or do I need to use something in place of it for the flavor? My daughter is allergic to tree nuts, so I cannot use it in my dishes. I love the sound of this dish though because it is dark and mysterious with the cherries and the dark chocolate. Great idea! Thanks for sharing with everyone!
