Ingredients

  • 1 lb of ground Beef
  • 1 lb of Lasagna Pasta
  • 1 cup of Black Olives
  • 1 cup of sun dried Tomatoes
  • 1 cup of Capers
  • 1 pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 cup of grated Gruyère Cheese
  • 1 cup of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  1. First, for the bechamel, melt the butter in a pot and add the flour. Mix together until it turns light brown

  2. Slowly add the milk while mixing. When it starts to turn creamy, add the salt, pepper, and nutmeg;

  3. In a large pot, heat up the olive oil, add the minced garlic and the meat and let it cook for 5-10 minutes

  4. Add the tomato purée and canned tomatoes and let it cook for another 10 minutes

  5. Add the olives, capers, red pepper flakes, sun dried tomatoes, basil, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper to the pot

  6. In a baking tray, make layers of pasta and meat and top with the bechamel sauce and grated cheese
