Everyone loves a classic lasagna, but making the classic Italian dish can be time consuming. Grandma's Famous Sausage Skillet Lasagna allows you to enjoy a delicious homemade meal in only 40 minutes! This easy dinner recipe uses sausage to boost the flavor of this tasty skillet meal. Unlike most lasagna recipes, the lasagna noodles are cooked right in the sauce, which helps cut down on cooking time. Once the noodles have been cooked, dollops of ricotta cheese rest on top of the sauce. Mozzarella cheese is generously sprinkled on top before the casserole is placed in the oven to melt the cheese.

I always think of lasagna as a time-consuming meal. This recipe simplifies the process and makes lasagna a weeknight meal I can do. We love pasta dishes with side salads and garlic bread, so this is a definite-make meal for next week! My family will be surprised when they hear we are having lasagna, and it's not a holiday!
