The Heim Concept Ceramic Knife Set includes 4 ceramic knives ranging in size, as well as a ceramic vegetable peeler. The knives are incredibly sharp and each has a soft rubber grip. These knives are great for chopping vegetables and slicing fruit. 

Each of the knives includes a plastic sheath to protect your hand. This is particularly important if you are storing the knives in a drawer or have small children. The sheaths are easy to remove and will keep your knives extra sharp.

Don't be fooled by the light weight feel of the ceramic used to make the blades.  The ceramic used to make the blades is actually 12 times hard than regular steel. The knives are best for cutting fruits, vegetables, and cheese.

I like that the set has two larger knives and two smaller knives. The larger knives are comparable to a standard chef's knife, while the smaller two are similar to a paring knife. Add the vegetable peeler to the mix, and you have everything you need to chop, dice, and mince your favorite fruits and vegetables.
