What would you get if you mixed red velvet cake with a rice krispie treat recipe? None other than Red Velvet Rice Krispy Treats. This dessert is a great one to make for Valentine's Day. The rice krispies get their red color from a red velvet cake mix. Drizzle melted white chocolate chips over the tops to add a nice finishing touch. This simple dessert is great for a kid's birthday party, a festive holiday party, or a regular day when you want something pretty to eat!

Do you have to add any extra butter or take any away if you change the amount of cake mix you use? I can't wait til this weekend because I want to try this recipe out soon. I think my kids will fall in love with it because they love anything red velvet.

Hi SissieSass, I think the amount of butter stays the same regardless of the amount of cake mix that's used. Enjoy! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
