Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
This image courtesy of thedomesticrebel.com

These Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are the sweetest combination of different flavors and only require six ingredients to make. These dessert bars start with a simple chocolate chip cookie mix to make it quick and easy. To get a gooey caramel center, mini Rolo candies are added and then these cookie bars are topped off with coconut flakes and baked. Even though the recipe is fairly simple, the flavors within these bars are so complex and are different than many other dessert bars out there. Try these for a new type of dessert that you will love.

Do you toast the coconut before you add it to the recipe? I think it would add a new flavor and possibly texture to the dish. It sounds so sweet and delicious. I am ready to make it now, so I will definitely be adding the ingredients to my grocery list this week.

Hi SissieSass, the blogger didn't toast the coconut before adding it to the recipe, but you could definitely do that. Enjoy! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
