The tomato liquid and the chicken broth "cooking liquid" infuses the pasta in this dish with such a wonderful savory flavor, that I could eat a full bowl of just the noodles alone! And the chicken surprisingly turns out perfectly tender. I used about half the amount of fresh basil that it called for, since my son isn't as fond of the strong flavor, and everyone loved it. A great go - to recipe that really warms you up!
