Ingredients

  • 1 loaf day-old French bread, cubed
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, tossed lightly with flour (leave frozen)
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Layer half the cubed bread in the baking dish.

  3. With a hand mixer, cream together the sugar, cream cheese, vanilla

  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls over the bread.

  5. Toss the frozen blueberries in flour.

  6. Layer the blueberries. Cover with the remaining bread.

  7. Whisk the eggs and milk until combined. Pour over the bread.

  8. Press the bread with a spatula to help soak up the milk mixture.

  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  10. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  11. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

  12. Serve immediately.
