Classic Beef Casserole Pie

This old-fashioned ground beef recipe is the best hearty bake!

Classic Beef Casserole Pie
Classic Beef Casserole Pie

When it comes to hearty and filling recipes, you can't go wrong with this Classic Beef Casserole Pie! The ground beef casserole recipe is perfect for fall and winter, and will be a hit with the family every time you serve it.

From the blogger: "This beef casserole pie is a fun way to use ground beef. It is flavourful and let's face it, anything covered in pastry can only be delicious, right? Ground beef is so versatile and it is used in a lot of dishes. Although this beef casserole looks very sophisticated, it is actually very easy to prepare, and if you have children, they will love it. The pastry in this recipe is really easy to make and I use it for all my pies, but if you don’t want to make your own, you can always buy pastry dough at your supermarket. If you don’t eat meat, you can prepare it with soy crumbles that you can buy in the vegetarian section, or you can even replace the meat with chopped mushrooms and brown lentils sautéd in butter."
