I love grits. However I have never had them combined like this will collard greens. I have never bought the frozen collard greens either but I will be looking for them. There is nothing low calorie about this recipe with the heavy cream and the butter but it sounds delicious. And the addition of bacon! Wow! Well you have to cheat once in awhile. Right? I am still going to make it and treat myself. Thanks.

Though I've lived in the south (Virginia and Maryland) for over half my life, I've rarely had mustard or collard greens and I'm not sure I've ever had grits. But I'm always up for a new culinary experience and this recipe sounds like something I'd enjoy. Anything with Parmesan cheese and bacon is fine in my book.
