On Saturday mornings before the start of a busy day of running around doing errands and shopping, I like to treat my family to a nice breakfast. It is the only time that we are all together in the morning, and the only morning that I really have time to cook. I think my family will love this casserole, maybe with some scrambled eggs and crispy bacon on the side to go with it.

What a lovely Southern recipe! Perfect for a chill weekend in.
