I love the ease and convenience of this Stuffed Pork Chop Casserole. The addition of the apples to the Stovetop stuffing. gives it that perfect hint of sweetness. This wonderful dish is perfect to serve to family, or even at a dinner party. I served it with roasted carrots and a tossed green salad on the side. It was perfect.

I love the idea of this simple, tasty recipe, but I was wondering if it would alter the taste and moisture of the meat if I leave out the apples? I can't eat that fruit, as it doesn't react too well in my gut. I am assuming the fruit adds to the moisture? Maybe substitute pears?

Hi kenziewood07, since this recipe only has 3 ingredients, it wouldn't be quite the same if you left out the apple. Pears would be a good substitute! This recipe would probably still be good without the fruit, but it wouldn't have the same sweetness. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes
