Green Bean Casserole Recipes
It's not Thanksgiving without a green bean casserole. It's a relatively easy concept, but there are a few decisions you have to make. Fresh green beans or frozen? Cream of mushroom soup or a homemade mixture? French-fried onion topping or caramelized onions? If you need a new idea for a green bean casserole to add to the other Thanksgiving side dishes, then you've come to the right place. Soup-less Green Bean and Mushroom Casserole (p. 7, pictured) is the one for you if you don't like using canned soup. Additionally, if you are gluten intolerant or wish to avoid gluten, we have a Gluten-Free Green Bean Casserole (p. 8). Now there's no reason for you to sit on the sidelines watching others enjoy a plate of green bean casserole. And that's not all. We begin the eCookbook with a panko-crusted version. The bread crumbs add a different twist to the dish. We hope you've enjoyed what you read so far and decide to download this free eCookbook, Easy Thanksgiving Recipes: 14 Thanksgiving Side Dishes.
Easy Sweet Potato Casserole Recipes
To some, the sweet potato casserole outshines the turkey. And out of all the Thanksgiving side dishes, this one is their favorite. Do you fall under this category? The main difference between sweet potato casserole recipes is the topping. Marshmallow is perhaps the most traditional topping, but pecans are in a close second. You can also top them with pralines, crumbles, or other sweet concoctions. In our sweet potato chapter, you'll discover four different toppings. Sweet Potato Casserole with Brown Sugar Crumble (p. 9, pictured) has a sweet and nutty topping that you'll love if you like pecans. The crumble adds a special touch. Another recipe, Copycat Boston Market Sweet Potato Casserole (p. 12), has an oatmeal cookie crust on top of a layer of marshmallows, making it both soft and crunchy. Another recipe in the list is a Praline Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato Casserole (p.11). This dish uses two healthy ingredients: squash and sweet potatoes. If you want to sneak in more nutritional value, this is a good way to do it. Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipes
When you think of stuffing, you most likely think of Thanksgiving. Whether you make it inside the bird or bake it on its own, stuffing is a classic dish that has to be on your Thanksgiving menu. There are plenty of versions, and it can be overwhelming to pick just one. Our eCookbook showcases three unique stuffing recipes for you to choose from. The first could not be any easier to make. Broccoli Stuffing Casserole (p. 13) is a simple dump and stir recipe that anyone can make. If you have kids begging to help with the Thanksgiving preparations, this is a good recipe for them to help with. If you have a taste for all things fall, then Pumpkin Leek Stuffing (p. 15, pictured) is for you. The pumpkin adds a nice autumn touch to your Thanksgiving table. The chewy ciabatta bread and fresh cubed pumpkin give the dish a nice texture, too. Download your free copy of Easy Thanksgiving Recipes: 14 Thanksgiving Side Dishes to get access to these recipes plus one more stuffing recipe.
Mashed Potato Recipes
We end our eCookbook with a mashed potatoes chapter. Now, these are no ordinary mashed potatoes. Each one has a unique characteristic that will make it difficult for you to pick just one for your Thanksgiving menu. Smashed Potatoes and Broccoli (p. 18, pictured) is one such recipe. Broccoli tops are mixed into the potato mixture, so it's like having two Thanksgiving side dishes in one! If bacon holds a special place in your heart, then you'll be happy to know that two of the recipes in this chapter use this beloved ingredient. On page 16, you'll find the delightful Bacon-Topped Three cheese potatoes. It's both beautiful and delicious. The other bacon recipe is smoky and tastes just as good. Last but not least, we have a low-carb mashed potatoes recipe that, let's face it, you may be in need of after devouring turkey and other Thanksgiving sides. Substituting cauliflower in place of real potatoes will give the same texture with fewer carbs. That's a good deal.
