This pasta casserole is made on the stovetop, and all of the delicious ingredients are simply tossed with the cooked noodles. The sauce is made by browning ground beef and then adding jarred pasta sauce, cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream. Yum! I just love what cream cheese does to this Cream Cheese Pasta Casserole. It truly adds a wonderful creamyness that is rich and yummy. My only revision to this recipe was I used ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese (an Italian thing). I serve it with grated parmesan cheese on the side (another Italian thing) snd of course crispy Italian bread.

Yum! This recipe sounds so delicious. I cannot wait to put this one on the table and see what the hubby and kids think. We love dishes that add the rich, creamy goodness of cheese with the beef. Have you ever used parmesan on top for a little crunch and texture?
