The Rachael Ray Covered Casserole Pot is a gorgeous, hard enamel pot with a supreme, nonstick interior coating. The brightly hued pot is perfect for making your favorite casseroles, in addition to soups, sauces, and side dish recipes. The casserole pot comes complete with a glass lid.

Aluminum is used to construct this large pot which have found to be a reliable material for cookware. It helps distribute heat so you won't have undercooked food mixed with overcooked food. I love that there is a nonstick coating that makes clean up much easier. This is truly in the Rachael Ray spirit.

The size of this casserole pot makes it one of my most used pieces of cookware. It has a 5.5 quart capacity which is not overly large and bulky, nor too small. I loved cooking side dishes like mashed potatoes in this pot, as well as soups and stews. It can also go in the oven up to 350 degrees F, making it ideal for casserole recipes that begin on the stovetop and end in the oven.

I absolutely love the handles on this pot. They have a soft grip that makes them more comfortable to hold. Even the handle of the lid has a soft grip. I also like how it is widely shaped so grabbing it is no problem for anyone. Passing the pot around the table and lifting the lid to serve is simple thanks to these features.

The coloring on this pot is truly wonderful. The blue is close to a teal color and it fades into a darker hue. I love the two-tone look of the pot.
