An aluminum core is sandwiched between stainless steel layers to create the tri-ply design on this pan. This allows for the benefits of quick and even heating. The magnetic stainless steel also makes it friendly for using on induction cooktops. 

I especially love the handle on the pan. It has strength from the steel, complemented by a super comfortable silicone grip. It makes it easy for anyone to lift, even with food in the pan. 

The straining lid is another distinctive and exciting feature of this pan. The glass is shatter-resistant, and designed to handle heat well. It also has a similar handle as the one on the pan. It is large, curved, and has the same silicone grip as the other handle. It also features two different straining options. Just turn the lid, and you can strain liquid directly from the pan. This is quite the convenient feature. 

The shape, 3-quart size, and overall design of this pan makes it great to use for a variety of recipes. I like using it to brown meat because you can easily drain the grease. You can also use it to make soups, sauces, heat leftovers, and more!
