Miss Kay's Banana Pudding recipe is just like the one Kay Robertson makes on Duck Dynasty. This banana pudding is a no-bake dessert that has homemade ingredients, just like Grandma used to make. Instead of using a boxed mix, you will make a pudding from scratch. There's no competition between the boxed stuff and the real thing. The delicious taste is definitely worth the extra time and effort! Add fresh bananas and vanilla wafers and you've got a simple dessert that is downright amazing. All you have to do is chill and serve.

Oh nice! Banana pudding, and not from the box! My kids are gonna love this. Looks easy, using everyday ingredients. But I cant tell what kind of wafers you use for this recipe. Im not familiar with it, so I have to browse the supermarket shelf and find something that could work with this recipe. )

Hi CeciliaKo, Nilla Wafers is the brand name of the vanilla wafers used in this recipe. They are usually in the cracker aisle. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeCasseroleRecipes

It has been years since I have had a banana pudding, my mam used to make it for me and my brother when we were kids, memories are flooding back. I recently asked her for the recipe but she couldn't remember it she never wrote it down! I will have to try this for me and my brother and see if it's the same as the one my mam used to make)

Wow, this looks amazing! Banana pudding is one of my favorite desserts
