"Loaded" Congo Bars
This image courtesy of cinnamonspiceandeverythingnice.com

Though they have an exotic name, "Loaded" Congo Bars did not originate in the Congo region. They are more common in the Southern United States than in Africa. Like many other recipes for blondies, a variety of goodies is used in the bars. This particular recipes calls for walnuts, chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and other mix-ins of your choosing. These chewy cookie bars are loaded to the max, resulting in maximum enjoyment.

I love that you just added what you had on hand to these bars and made them something special and delicious.
