The Duke's Biscuit Casserole

This hearty ground beef casserole is sure to satisfy all "cowboys" at the table! The Duke's Biscuit Casserole is a version of the popular John Wayne casserole. The meal includes plenty of ground beef, vegetables, cheese, and a flaky biscuit base. This is a true stick-to-your-ribs dinner. The biscuits are laid in the bottom of the casserole dish and then prebaked so that they hold up under the beefy toppings. In addition to the ground beef, which is flavored with taco seasoning, the toppings include bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Yum!
