I was a picky eater as a child, so I had my first pierogi not too long ago. Boy, was I missing out! They're so delicious. Pierogi are not the simplest things to make, though, so I enjoy using premade frozen pierogi at home. Polska Foods' frozen pierogi are fantastic. Unlike other frozen foods, Polska Foods sells all-natural, organic frozen pierogi that have no additives, preservatives, growth hormones, trans fat, or MSG. This is a high-quality product.

The first package I tried was the potato and cheese variety. I loved them! I put a little butter on top after I boiled them, and that was all that they needed. They were spicier than I expected them to be (because I didn't expect to be spicy at all), but I thought it added a nice flavor. The potato and cheese pierogi are the most popular variety of Polska's pierogi, and I can see why.
 

The savory beef and pork variety was another great variety. I used these pierogi in a casserole, which turned out great (I boiled the pierogi before I put them in the casserole). The casserole was made with a roasted garlic and bacon cream sauce, so the meaty pierogi was a nice fit. Because there was meat, it turned out to be a great main dish casserole.
 

Polska Food's frozen pierogi are made from a family recipe from Poland and are frozen fresh to maintain nutrient value and flavor. They are very delicious and I highly recommend them.
